Nice campground in a wooded setting, take your mosquito repellent. Bathrooms are closed for cleaning from 2:30 - 4:00 PM, plan accordingly. Had a problem here as they did not inform us with our reservation that we could not store our boat on our camp site, same is true for utility trailers, too. Also, they don't seem to enforce their rules except for boat & utility trailers, slight problem w/ quiet hours, people dumping their gray tanks on the ground, etc.

Nice waterfront setting on Lake Winnebago with a boat ramp and docking available. Restrooms are a bit small, only one shower in each. Beach is a bit small, but great access to the reefs along the west side of Lake Winnebago south of Oshkosh.

Went here rather than the KOA farther west for an overnight stop. KOA wanted $53 for a night. Stayed here instead for $15 less plus got cable TV. Very nice, very clean, lots of room for a large rig.

We had some equipment problems that they pointed out upon our arrival. Fortunately my brother lives in Cheyenne and was able to help, although the campground offered. Good BBQ available right in the park. Sites would be a bit tight if the park would have been full. Showeres and stalls were a bit narrow for those of us that are "supersized". Nice dog park.

Pull Thru sites were not very long. We were towing our boat and wanted to take our camper off of our truck to tour the area. So we had to park the truck in the site next to us as did large motorhomes with a car in tow and fifth wheels. showers, while clean were not as functional as one might like, no bench or chair in the indivisual showers which were between the bathrooms. Road noise from SR 79 could be a problem for light sleepers.

We were in Sandy Beach Campground, site D74, a group site with my brother and two nieces. Bathrooms are of the pit variety and were as clean as could be expected. No other facilities here. Nice view of the lake and of Laramie Peak. Beach close by for the kids and a few shelters. Man at the Sandy Beach gate has a screw loose.

How this park in Mt Eaton has a Dundee, OH address is beyond me. Very nice enclosed pool & hot tub area, all glass, water temperature of the pool was great. Only downside is that the sites are a bit close together.

We were in a pull thru site, #161. Unfortunately that site floods when it rains hard, we had 2-1/2 to 3 inches of water under our camper. The ranger, Jim, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. He came & dug a hole, put a bucket & pump in the bucket and pumped the water across #160 to the drain. It took about 2-1/2 to 3 hours but our site no longer had standing water. I talked to Jim about the park. This park was re-done and re-opened in 2003. They raised the campground about 11 feet and the causeway to get to it to offset some problems they had with flooding. And, yes they had to remove all of the trees in the campground other than those just off of the beach otherwise the trees would have died raising the ground that far.

These people like to nickel and dime you to death, extra for electricity, extra to run and A/C, extra to use the pool and extra to use the shower, but you can't control the water temperature. Some sites don't even have 30 amp hookup. Plus if you're towing a boat most sites off of the main drag do not have enough room to store your boat on site, that is if you can back it in. Bottom line, these people only care about green ($). Go to Tranquil Timbers in Sturgeon Bay.

This park was sold about a year ago and they are going through some changes, the store is not open as one might like. However, this is a VERY nice campground with gated access & exit. Some of the sites are very deep to handle bigger motor homes. Quite a few sites are completely shaded and we hardly saw a mosquito. Lots of roads with lots of kids on bikes, etc so be careful. My 10 year old son loved riding his bike here.

Nice place for an overnight stop, however the pull thru sites are extremely close together. When I put my jack down I was almost right beside the neighbor's campfire. Owner seems like a nice guy, waited up for us to arrive and led us to our spot plus told me my truck/truck camper & boat wouldn't fit on the end site as the were a bit smaller than the other pull thru's. Believe they need to take a pull thru site out to give everyone more room.

No sewer hook ups but they will pump your black & gray tank and NOT charge you. I've stayed here before and was a little disappointed the showers weren't cleaner this year, lots of dead mosquiotoes on the wall. Campground is owned & operated by the Breitung Twp. Usually on Friday afternnons they have special kid activities on their playgeound or beach. If reserving a specific site I'd send a confirmation letter or e-mail.

This a state park that is not overrun on the weekends. Even on Memorial Day weekend there were still a couple of sites available. And the sites are fairly large so that you are not on top of one another as you are in other Indiana State Parks such as Paynetown.

Stopped here on our way to FL from IN, very nice clean park. Staff was friendly, where else can you get free popcorn & slushie just for checking in. Plus they had cable TV for us to watch the NCAA Basketball Tournament and since I had forgotten our cable, they had some available to buy.
